extensive experience of Investment Advisory, Project & Export Finance, Alternative
Energy, Economics, and Board Management.

 Professional experience gained at:


• HSBC Bank | Lehman Brothers | Standard Chartered Bank | BDO Stoy Hayward

 A serial entrepreneur with a range of businesses including online recruitment, motoring


platforms, and alternative energy.

 Founder and CEO of Solynta Energy, Nigeria’s leading Solar Power company with 2MW
installed capacity across 17 States in the country.

 Successfully led Solynta Energy from a small smart-up enterprise into an organisation
with over 30 administrative and technical staff generating sales revenue in excess of
US$1.5million per year, within the first 4 years of operation.

Raj Gopal Purwar| CFO, Solynta Energy

 A qualified professional (ACA, ACS, LLB) with strong commercial acumen gained
through substantial 23 years of experience in FMCG / Manufacturing / Construction/ Infra
Companies; performed senior-level leadership roles (CFO/ Vice President) in last 10
years and also involved in the area of Strategy & Planning, revival of the business.

 As CFO and guiding force for cost optimization team, has successfully managed and
delivered various cost optimization and cost reduction projects. A prominent member of
the Purchase Committee in the various Companies.

 Worked as “Compliance officer” of a listed Company.

 Work experience spanning 2 continents, teams comprising of individuals from over 10


countries of the world.

 Apart from various tax planning strategies , new system implementation involved in
designing control for a big fleet of vehicles and toll operation, restructuring of loan and
balance sheet, expert in financial and legal due diligence .

Chidi Ugboaja | COO, Solynta Energy

An alumnus of Federal University of Technology Owerri and University of Cumbria


United Kingdom, Chidi is an Engineer with extensive experience in the Oil and Gas
Industry.

As a Project Manager, successfully managed and delivered multibillion dollar projects,
most of them virgin.

Work experience spanning 4 continents, teams comprising of individuals from over 80


countries of the world – that is what it takes to develop a good understanding of the
impact of culture on business as well as Technology on lifestyle as Chidi has.

Deep understanding of the renewable energy space, that is ideally suited to drive the
operations of the business from start up to scale

An MBA in leadership and sustainability combined with an Engineering degree in


Electronics and computer Engineering provides the unique ability to manage and execute
the delivery and installation of equipment on a distributed basis, and at scale
