 Third Grade:
o Hillview Intermediate Center (Grove City, PA) – Aided students in improving literacy skills in both small group and
whole class settings. Learned management skills and different methods for reaching all levels of students. (Fall 2014)
 Fourth Grade:
o Mercer Elementary School (Mercer, PA) – Team taught a week-long unit on cells. Taught two lessons including one
on the animal cell and one on the characteristics of living things. Assisted my peers with their lessons. (Fall 2014)
 Fifth Grade:
o Robert J. Burch Elementary School (Tyrone, GA) – Worked with students in science and math both with struggling
learners, as well as assisting the whole class with a variety of assignments. Had the opportunity to form a relationship
with the students, learning their interests and needs. Also, assisted the classroom teacher with managerial tasks and
preparing materials for lessons. (Spring 2015)
 Sixth Grade:
o Grove City Area Middle School (Grove City, PA) – Team taught a three day unit on perimeter, area, and volume.
Taught the area of rectangles, triangles, and squares using geography such as French architecture as well as assisting
my peers during their lessons. (Spring 2014)
o Grove City Area Middle School (Grove City, PA) – Prepared and taught a ten day unit plan on a young adult book
while implementing behavior management techniques in a small group setting. (Spring 2015)
 Seventh Grade:
o Madras Middle School (Newnan, GA) – Observed and assisted in a gifted science class. Had the opportunity to
observe the school atmosphere during a lunch period. Also experienced teachers working together while participating

 Eighth Grade:
