Weaknesses of the organizational chart

 Team spirit is lacking in this organizational structure. Although specialized employees can often
work with high efficiency, they may fail to cooperate well with colleagues from different
departments.
 It did not clearly explain what the broken lines mean
 It’s hard to control management. This type of org chart sets challenges for the top manager to
maintain the whole company as the business expands widely. Top managers cannot give orders
directly to all staff, but they have to assign the mission to several department managers. Then
department managers continue to split the task into smaller parts to give them to every single
person.
 This org. chart was not consistent in showing the employees/staff working under each
manager/director/officer, etc. (Employees who report to or work for the information and
Communication Technology Manager were shown, but employees under Human Resources
Development Manager, Admin and General services, etc. weren’t.)
 Instead of updating the organizational chart for mistakenly placing the supervision of ICTO
under the VP of Finance and placed it under the VP of Admin Affairs, the chart only put a note
on the bottom which may lead to confusion

Recommendations

By looking at the org chart, people can gain a quick understanding of how the organization is designed,
its number of levels and where each employee fits into the organization.
