Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 35, s. 2016, or the Learning Action Cell as a K to 12
Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy
for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning; all school heads are hereby ordered to
organize LAC for EPP, TLE and TVL teachers.

This is to support their Continuing Professional Development as well as to improve the

teaching-learning process that will lead to improved learning among the students.
Furthermore, this will continuously improve teachers’ content and pedagogical
knowledge, practice, skills and attitudes.

Teachers can be grouped according to the following:

a. Component area (e.g. IA, HE, ICT, Agri)
b. Grade level
c. Courses (e.g. Cookery, Technical Drafting)
d. EPP, TLE, TVL Programs, Projects and Activities

LAC shall be led by the school heads and can be initially facilitated by the ICT
Coordinator. School heads are expected to start LAC meetings and sessions on August
of this year, and submit regular report to the Division Office c/o Dr. Virgilio O. Guevarra,
Jr. and Dr. Vanessa R. Barcarse.
