Software License, Limited Warranty DISTRIBUTION INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED

Program Changes in Version 5.23
This section outlines enhancements made to Paydirt SiteWork version 5.23 software.

• Microsoft Vista™ - The program can now be run on the Vista (32-bit) operating system.
Note: SiteWork, CalcWork, and MathTools use complied HTML help files (.chm) in
Windows Vista. If you receive an error message that a WinHelp file (.hlp) cannot be
found, you will need to install a Microsoft patch to view the file. Click here to download
the patch from the Microsoft Download Center.

Software Installation
This section provides installation instructions for Paydirt® SiteWork software, which is
provided on CD ROM.

Information on operating Paydirt SiteWork is provided in the Paydirt SiteWork


Quick Reference Guide. Read these release notes in conjunction with the Paydirt SiteWork
Quick Reference Guide.

Paydirt SiteWork is designed for calculating earthwork and analyzing and estimating job sites
quickly and effectively. It is useful for contractors doing utility, excavation, highway, heavy,
and general construction work. It eliminates the need for doing tedious hand calculations when
you calculate volumes of dirt that need to be moved.

Note – Please uninstall previous versions of SiteWork prior to installing version 5.23.

To install the Paydirt SiteWork software:


1. Insert the Paydirt SiteWork CD in the CD drive of your office computer.
2. When the installation dialog appears, click Next.
3. Select I accept the terms of the license agreement, and click Next.
4. Enter your company information (optional), and click Next.
5. Select Complete for quick installation using the default installation settings, or select
Custom to customize installation settings (not recommended for inexperienced users).
Click Next.
6. SiteWork saves the digitizer settings from the most recent installation. Click Yes to use the
previous cursor configuration.
7. Click Next to install SiteWork using the displayed installation settings, or click Back to
return to previous screens to make changes to the installation settings.
8. Click Finish to view the ReadMe file and complete the installation process.

Known Issues
• The demo, available by clicking View Paydirt SiteWork Demo in the installation screen,
does not run in Microsoft Vista.
• You must be a member of the Administrators group to install and run Paydirt SiteWork.
Members of the Standard users group or Restricted users group (defined in Properties in
the User Accounts dialog) are not supported.
