Biography &  Amanda is currently working on her Masters of Education for Change from Lakehead University, focusing on 
Highlights  decolonizing international teacher education and volunteering in Southeast Asia; her masters portfolio will be 
the creation of a new training program for teachers in developing countries. She approaches teaching & 
learning through the lens of holistic, democratic pedagogy & social justice. 
 
Amanda developed a free, open-source grade tracking program that works with the Ontario assessment system 
and can be modified to fit other curricula. She has threaded subject-centred learning, technology, and language 
support throughout her courses and has produced papers and training to help other teachers do the same.

staff professional development seminars, online learning, and on-the-job assistance. 
- Assisted administration by streamlining support systems reducing feedback time and teacher workload. 
- Developed a new electronic teaching binder system which was implemented across the Canadian program.
