- You are expected to select organization in your vicinity and asses’ status and forward ways of
improvement regarding OB dependent variable under investigation.

- You are expected to use standard survey instrument to assess the status of OB dependent variable
under investigation. N.B. You have to get approval of your survey instrument by instructor

Metaphor Analysis Guideline

Read the Change Metaphor Entitled “Who Moved My Cheese” and Critically Reflect on the
Following Points

1) Being a metaphor in the story, what the ‘Cheese’ represents in the real life change situation?
Reflect both in personal and organizational context.

2) Being metaphor in the story, what the ‘Maze’ represents in the real life change situation? Reflect
both in personal and organizational context.

3) What each character (Sniff, Scurry, Hem, and Haw) in the story tells you about managing of
change? Reflect both in personal and organizational context.

4) What the animal characters (Sniff and Scurry) in the story tell you about managing of change?
