Sir,
Please accept this letter as notice of my resignation from being one of the social media
men of your office.
I am very sorry to inform you this because I feel so unproductive with myself being so
preoccupied with many things going around with my personal life. One of this is having
my main line job as a university instructor and also as a graduate student since I am
doing my master’s thesis this season. I don’t want to give you outputs that are half-
baked. I feel so ashamed doing that. That is why I want to act professionally not to
waste your money for giving allowances to me which I can’t give my utmost effort and
dedication to your office.
I know, Sir, election is fast approaching. That is why I opt myself to leave since I was
given by the university a task to handle summer classes, particularly being an adviser to
the on-the-job training of the graduating students. This task is so hideous since I must
travel from company to company just to monitor the students. There will be days that I
can’t go to HQ for straight days since the companies who hired my students are not
from Tagum City. And this will start this Monday. I don’t want to put you in trouble for not
always in the HQ all the time this summer. This is so unfair to all the workforce working
in the HQ, especially to Arianne and Niño who will be full-time this summer. I can’t
decline the task given by the university since I, as a part-time worker, am looking
forward to be given a plantilla item which will give me a regular job and a stable income.
It has been a pleasure working with you and your team over the last four months. One
of the highlights of my stay in your office is having to experience the pressure of the
election going into my veins. This is my first time. I witnessed the hardwork of the Uy
Family for the love of Tagum City and I adore your family, especially C.O. for the
tremendous effort to improve Tagum.
Even if I will not continue working on your team, I will always see Mayor Uy as the father
of Tagum. I will return all the belongings issued to me by the office and I will finish by
unfinished task Sir. Thank you so much.
