Members present:

1. The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. by Chairman Randy Thompson. Alan Linford offered
the invocation.

2. Alan Linford made the motion that the Lincoln County School District Board of Trustees go into
executive session for the purpose of considering personnel matters, and matters concerning
litigation to which the school district is a party or to which the school district may be a party.

Motion by Alan Linford, second by Karyn Hoopes

3. Mike Hunsaker made the motion at 7:00 p.m. that the Lincoln County School District Board of
Trustees reconvene the public session of the meeting.

Motion by Mike Hunsaker, second by Eileen Merritt

4. Reynold Johnson made the motion to adopt the agenda.

5. Mike Hunsaker presented certificates of recognition to Donna Ivie and Eileen Merritt for earning
Certified Master School Board Members.

6. Maintenance Director Steve Rich reported on the maintenance requests that had been filled
during the past year. He reviewed with the board the process for bids and provided a summary of
the summer projects and the rate of completion on them. Mrs. Merritt asked about the partial re-
roof at Osmond Elementary.

7. Business Manager JC Inskeep provided the board with the monthly financial update.

8. Board informational items that were reviewed included:

Greenhouse at Star Valley Middle School

9. The bid tabulations for the Star Valley High School Weight Room equipment were discussed.
Mike Hunsaker made the motion to approve the bid in the amount of $64,330.00 for weight
equipment for Star Valley High School.

10. The following consent agenda section1 items were discussed:

Payment of bills
Approval of bids for a monitoring well and food and dairy for the school lunch system

Discussion was held on what exactly was contained in the food and dairy bid.

Reynold Johnson made the motion to approve consent agenda section 1.

11. Consent agenda section 2 personnel items considered were:

Release of contract- Jessica Balls
New Hire- Tonya Moyes- Assistant Volleyball Coach- Cokeville Jr. High School

Donna Ivie made the motion to approve the personnel changes.

12. New Business- Superintendent Abrams presented information to the board about a memorial
being established by the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars to honor soldiers killed during the War on
Terror.

13. Action Item Re-cap- information regarding teacher meetings will be sent to the board.
