NGT Participant Expectations
- ALL participants are expected to maintain grades and attendance. Students must be passing 3 out of
4 classes with a grade of 75 of higher. The attached form must be signed by the corresponding
teachers - DO NOT WRITE YOUR GRADE! Follow the instructions on the paper.
- ALL Participants must respect the NGT committee members, directors, participants, and other
volunteers. Participants are also expected to follow with school policy and respect NERSBA staff at all
times. If an incident occurs in which a NERSBA staff member is disrespected by a participant, NGT
directors and NERSBA staff hold the right to dismiss the offender from the show.
- ALL participants should check their emails constantly. This is how NGT directors communicate.
NERSBA emails can be connected to mobile devices, and is already to be checked daily for classes, so
no excuse will be tolerated. In the event that you experience technical issues with your email, let a
director know.
- Participants are expected to provide any music or information necessary for their acts! The directors
cannot take time to find the music for you. You are responsible for submitting a CD, Flash drive, or
emailing a mp3 file or a link to the YouTube video you are using for music. This must be submitted to
Mrs. Hardison before your audition.
- WHAT YOU AUDITION IS WHAT YOU WILL PERFORM! There will be no exceptions; whatever act you
audition, with whatever song, is what will be used for your performance. Song changes will not be
permitted.
- Maximum of Five (5) Minutes! Due to the limits on time, every audition and performance will be
limited to five minutes. Please plan accordingly.
- MUSIC APPROVAL: All music used in NGT is screened for school purposes, this includes any music used
for auditions and acts.

As a participant for a school event, you are held responsible for your behavior and for meeting the expected
guidelines that are explained in this document. Failure to do so will result in your removal from the NGT show
lineup. Further action may be pursued by NERSBA administration. We appreciate your interest in participating
in NGT. If you have questions, contact Mrs. Hardison

Please note: Filling out this application does not ensure you will be in the show. Emails will be
sent out to all approved applicants, along with an audition schedule.
