 Grant Application Section

1. Executive Summary* (max 2000 characters)

Brief write-up about the Organization and its past experience of handling projects of
proposed concept if any (with Tata Trusts or otherwise)

2. Problem Statement*(max 3000 characters)

A brief description of the problem. Geography/ theme/ portfolio the project falls under. List
any related facts related to geography/ theme/ portfolio, which impacts the scope of work
involved in the project.

3. Proposed strategy to address the problem* (max 1500 characters)

Brief on how the problem will be addressed. Descriptive in nature of the implementation
strategy with emphasis on the core aspects of strategy. Details of how the implementation
approach is innovative/superior as compared to existing approaches

4. Financial* (max 1000 characters)

Outline the funding requirement at of the project(less than 1000 characters)

5. Timelines* (max 300 characters)

Proposed time for completion of various interventions, baselines, mid-term assessment,

impacts, finances, etc.

6. Contribution from Other Sources

Outline any other sources of contributions for the concept. List private/ government
agencies who intend/may intend to partner the concept for implementation

7. Phase II/III applicants only

If the partnership is in Phase II or Phase III, then the output, outcome of earlier phase along
with impact assessments, financial assessments and lessons learnt should be mentioned

List of documents to be submitted:-

a) Registration (articles/ Memorandum of Association for Section 8 Company and

Society, Deed for Trust)
b) 12A or acknowledgement of 12A application
c) PAN
d) 80G/35 if available or acknowledgement of application
e) IT returns acknowledgement, if organisation is more than 1 year old
f) 3 year audited statement of accounts if the organisation is over 3 years old (for Small
grants of amount less than 10 Lakh rupees, 1 year audited statement of accounts will
be accepted)
Scanned copies of above said documents will be accepted.
