IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. The selection of the candidates is strictly provisional and subject to the production/verification of the original documents/valid category certificate(s) wherever
applicable. However, in case a discrepancy of any kind is found at any point of time, the University reserves the right to cancel/modify such selection/admission
thereof.
2. Provisionally selected candidates are advised to report to Deputy Registrar Admissions, Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora on any working
day from 28th to 31st of August, 2017 along with all the relevant documents in original and the requisite fee as mentioned in the University Prospectus 2017 to be
deposited in J&K Bank IUST Campus, Awantipora, (All major Credit/Debit cards are accepted).
3. The candidates shall have to submit an Affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate/Public Notary to the effect that s/he is neither on the rolls of any institution nor
employed in any Government/Semi Government Department.
4. The candidates in the Waiting List (s) are advised to report (in person) to Deputy Registrar Admissions from 28th to 31st of August, 2017 along with an application and
a Caution Fee (equivalent to the total fee of first semester as mentioned in the University Prospectus 2017) in the shape of Demand Draft favouring Islamic University
of Science & Technology payable at J&K Bank Ltd. IUST Campus, Awantipora for admission in case of any available vacancy (ies), failing which it shall be presumed
that they are not interested to take Admission at IUST and accordingly the seat shall be allotted to the next candidate as per the merit. The Caution Fee shall be
adjusted in the total fee in case the candidate is admitted or the same shall be refunded if the candidate is not admitted. The Selection list of the candidates (in case
of any available vacancy) who had reported among the Waiting list (s) to the University shall be notified separately.
5. The candidate having Single Asterisk Mark (*) on their Entrance Roll Numbers may note that they have been upgraded from reserved category to open merit Category
in the already allotted programme in view of their merit. They are informed to note about the allotment of their updated category for future references.
6. The candidates having Double Asterisk Mark (**) superscribed on their Entrance Roll Numbers may note that they have been upgraded from Self-Financing category
to General Category in the already allotted programme in view of their merit.
