Three Citrus Park Christian School Football Players Selected to All-State Team

Citrus Park Christian School has three football players that were honored by the Florida Christian
Association of Private and Parochial Schools (FCAPPS) as members of its All-State team for the
2017 season. They are Josh Smith, Jared Thompson and Nate Julian.

Tampa, FL, March 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Citrus Park Christian School has three players that were
honored by the Florida Christian Association of Private and Parochial Schools (FCAPPS) as members of
its All-State team for the 2017 season.

Junior Josh Smith (wide receiver) had 54 receptions for 1,244 yards and earned a spot on the All-State
academic team. Junior Jared Thompson (defensive end) had 47 tackles, 12 sacks, 3 fumble recoveries and
one strip for a touchdown. Senior Nate Julian (quarterback) had 123 completions on 161 attempts and
threw for 2,511 yards and 31 touchdowns. Julian also had 112 carries for 1,754 yards and 26 rushing
touchdowns.

"The players worked very hard and supported each other through a successful season and we are proud of
each and every player," said head football coach, Ed Schenk.

About FCAPPS - FCAPPS is a full contact high school league in Florida that has divisions in both 6-man
and 8-man. FCAPPS mission is to provide a sports program for small private high schools giving the
students the opportunity to experience spiritual, mental, physical and social growth and development.
Coaches use football to teach leadership, sportsmanship, and Biblical principles. In addition, the athletes
learn self-discipline and self-motivation, and develop the desire to do one's best. Our overall mission is to
use football and other sports activities as a means to glorify God and bring others to Christ.
