Admission Criteria for Integrated / PG and Ph. D.

Programme in CURAJ

CUCET-2018
For Integrated and PG Programmes:

All the candidates who wish to take admission in the Integrated and PG programmes of CURAJ, are hereby informed that CUCET-2018 qualifying marks of
40% for UR & OBC candidate’s and 35% for SC & ST candidates is fixed for qualifying to participate in admission cum counseling session. There will be
Group Discussion & Personal Interview in Master of Business Administration (MBA) etc.

1. The University reserves the right to change the No. of seats in any Programme.
2. Reservation of seats will be as per GoI/Central University of Rajasthan Norms.
3. For Admissions in B. Des. & M. Des. in Crafts and Design Programmes offered by the Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ), Entrance Test will be
conducted in two phases i.e. Phase-I: CUCET Entrance Exam; Phase-II: (a) Material, Color & Conceptual Test, (b) Personal Interview.

For Ph. D. Programmes:

All the candidates who wish to take the admission in Ph. D. programmes of CURAJ, are hereby informed that as per clause 5.4 of UGC (minimum Standards
and Procedure for award of M. Phil./Ph. D. Degree) regulation, 2016, the admission of candidates shall be by two stage process through:

1. An Entrance Test (CUCET-2018) shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50 %. The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall consist of 50% of research
methodology and 50% shall be subject specific. The Entrance Test shall be conducted at the Centre(s) notified in at the level of the individual Institute,
and
2. An interview/viva-voce will be organized by the University, when the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a
presentation before a duly constituted Department Research Committee.
3. The candidates who are qualified for JRF in UGC/CSIR/DBT national test shall be exempted for appearing in CUCET-2018. However, such candidates
must register themselves for CUCET-2018 followed by personal interview/test to be conducted by the respective department.
4. The University reserves the right to change the No. of seats in any Programme.
5. Reservation of seats will be as per GoI/Central University of Rajasthan Norms.

Economics Central Bachelor's degree with Economics as one of the subjects from any recognized University with a

Social Work Central Bachelor's degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent

M. Pharm Programmes (2 years)
Pharmaceutical Central A pass in the following examinations –
Chemistry University of B. Pharm degree examination of an Indian University established by Law in India from an
Rajasthan institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the
maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B. Pharm).
Provided that –
(a) There shall be reservation of seats for the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes in accordance with the instructions issued by the

Central Government/State Government/Union Territory Administration, as the case may be,
from time to time.
(b) For SC/ST candidates the prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the maximum marks
(aggregate of four years of B. Pharm)
(c) Every student, selected for admission to postgraduate pharmacy course in any of the pharmacy
institution in the country should have obtained Registration with the State Pharmacy Council or
should obtain the same within one month from the date of his admission, failing which the
admission of the candidate shall be cancelled.
Pharmaceutics Central A pass in the following examinations –
University of B. Pharm degree examination of an Indian University established by Law in India from an

Chemistry Central B.Sc. degree or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum of 50% of marks or

Rajasthan SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates with Chemistry as one of the main subjects.
Computer Science Central Following degree holders from recognized Universities with minimum score of 50% marks in
University of graduation for general category and minimum 45% marks for reserved categories are eligible:

Rajasthan i) BCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/B.Sc. IT or equivalent
ii) B.Sc. with computer science as one of the subject at graduation level

Computer Science Central Following degree holders from recognized Universities with minimum score of 50% marks in
(Big Data Analytics) University of graduation for general category and minimum 45% marks for reserved categories are eligible:
Rajasthan i) B.Sc. with Computer Science/Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subject at graduation

Environmental Central Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline of Science (with Physics as one

M. Arch. Programme (2 Years)
