What we are learning:
In reading we have been focusing on character’s point of view and are reviewing
beginning, middle addend of a story. We have also been using Somebody, Wanted, So,
But, Then as a strategy to retell the story and help us understand the moral or theme.
In grammar we are learning about possessive nouns and identifying verbs and
adjectives in a sentence. In Writing we developed a main character and have starting
writing a series of narratives. In Math we have been using the counting-on strategy as
a way to count money up to $20 and will be learning about attributes of 2 and 3-D
shapes. In Science we will begin learning about weather patterns and the water cycle.
