The shell must support the following internal commands :

1. mkdir
2. rmdir
3. more
4. menu - Displays the list of commands supported by your shell.
5. quit - Quit the shell.

Algorithms / Standard problems.

1. Producer - Consumer problem.

2. Dining Philosopher problem.

Note : Above problems should be implemented by using semaphores and monitors both.
