his was the first puppet we made as a
group! Amazing, isn’t it? We made this

puppets and sets in the second week, but that lasted until week three, wich was

he next step
in our process
was to create
a storyboard to follow. We
have two weeks to create
puppets, props and a stage,
but before we can do that,
we need to know how many
puppets we need, we need
to decide on a stage area
and we need to create a
storyboard, so Jordan can
start work on the script.

of our stage is
one of the last practical
tasks we need to complete.
Whilst we’ve been creating
puppets and props, Anthony
has been working on
photoshop to create scenes,
mesured to an A2 sheet (the
mesurements of the inside of
the case).
This area will be used to place
the scenes within during
performances. This size also
fits to lay in the lower of the
case, this allows the scenes to
lay at the bottom and be used
as a stage floor.
The scenes are simple,
to keep the time frame of
creating them to a minimum,
however, we will add props to
the scenes to give them more
depth and appeal. This will
also create a more interesting,
scene creation
3D feeling to the performance,
as there will be a layer of
depth from the background,
a layer from the props, and
at the front, a layer from the
puppets.

scenes so that theyreflect
that of the scenes in the film,
making the narritive clear but
do not look exactly the same,

exciting, it was our
first week in the

and with only a week to
deadline day, emotions
were running high.
The aim of a dress
rehearsal is not to stress
us out, it’s to prepare us for
whats about to come. It’s
not necssarily to practice
lines, it’s to practice scene
changes, lighting, audience
seating and music cues.
On the whole, our fist
rehearsal went well, although
it was clear that organising
ourselves and preparing
properly needed work. We
didn[t have printed scripts,
wich became an issue, as we
needed to give one to Lee and
people didn’t really know their
lines yet.
