I will play a video presentation that is
related in our topic for today. You are free
to take down important details while you are
watching the video because I will ask you

B. Developmental Phase
1. Activity
This time, we will have an activity for you
to familiarize on the different things that are
used in Manicuring. I will group you
according to your seats. This side will be the
Group 1, the students at your back will be
the Group 2, the opposite side of the second
group will be the Group 3, and the
remaining students are the last group. I will
show you 20 words that are related in the
video. In Answer Wall, each Group will
write those words in a Graphic Organizers
(according to the classification). The
categories are the Implements, Equipment,
Materials, and Cosmetics in Manicuring. I
will give you 2 minutes to do and another 1
minute to check your work by the
representative of the opposite group. I will
show the correct answer before you check.
The checking must be vice versa so, the
Group 1 and Group 2 will exchange their
works, the other 2 groups will also do that.
The group who can get more scores will be
given additional points for your recitation.

presentation and the activity that you did
before has a connection on our new lesson.

Beauty box and music. When I play the
music, you need to shout first the phrase
“IPASA MO ANG BEAUTY KO” before
you pass the beauty box to your seatmate. If
the music stopped, the one who hold the
Beauty box will get a question inside. After
you get it, kindly give the question to me
because I am the one who will read the
question for you. Is that clear?

I was build my trust because the staff in that
salon have a quality work and they have
complete, sanitize and appropriate implements,
equipments, materials, and cosmetics that
satisfied my needs as a customer.
But, did you try to manicure your own
nails?

Can you share your experience while you
are doing manicure in your own nails?
4. Application
Last time, I already gave you a group. We
will have another group activity. The Group
1 will make a role play showing how to
promote those implements, equipment,
materials, and cosmetics in manicuring. The
goal of the Group 1 is to get the attention
and interest of your customer to buy your
products. Did you understand?

The Group 2 will make a jingle about the
uses of the different implements, equipment,
Materials, and cosmetics in manicuring. The
jingle must consist of two stanzas.

Then, the Group 3 will make a reflection
about the cosmetic which is the nail polish
remover. You need to relate the nail polish
remover into your life. Your explanation
