ANTICIPATORY SET
TSW will look at a map and timeline as an overview for the whole chapter. TTW present the focus
questions for sections 1 and 2, “How did English ideas about government and trade affect the
colonies?” and “What were the characteristics of colonial society?”. TSW will complete a reading
check over section 1. TSW use their key terms to help them learn to read history.
