Lesson Reflection:
Monday Finally back on track! Today was spent catching up and reviewing. The students
completed another worksheet for a grade and then after that the students played roll and
multiply with a partner. The students rolled two dice. The first was a multiple of 10 and the
second was a single digit factor. The students worked with a partner during this. Tonight
for homework the students are reviewing their multiplication facts.

Tuesday Today I had the students complete a study guide. We worked on the study guide
whole group. We worked problems on the board. I would draw a stick and have the
students come up and show the drawing and number sentence on the board. After
completing the study guide I allowed the students to play a game of I have Who has, and
then we went to the lab to work on Moby Max. While working on Moy Max I pulled
students back to the table to work one-on-one with them.

Wednesday Today was the NED Show, so class was cut short. It was also Valentine’s Day.
However, even though we go back in class with only 20 minutes left I still went ahead and
had the students start their test. I wanted to make the most of every moment in class
because I felt like this unit has been dragging on.

Thursday The students finished their tests today. Overall I think the unit went very well.
The students enjoyed the different activities and also did very well. All students showed
improvement on their scores from pre-test to post-test. Even though it was a hectic time for
this unit I am very proud of the results.
