The case study is about Four Aces Construction and Hardware Supply and addresses two problems: 1) There is an opportunity for expansion but the owners are too old to manage another expansion. 2) The owners are looking for a way for the company to continue growing without them. The proposed solution is for the owners to consider having their children continue and expand the business or scout existing employees who show potential to manage the business and teach them how to run it, thus securing the company's future.

    Problem

    1. There is an opportunity for expansion but Gloria, Ligaya, Rosemarie and Rosalie are
    already old enough that they can’t manage another expansion.

    2. They thinking of a way for the company to continue and grow without them

    Solution

    Gloria, Ligaya, Rosemarie and Rosalie should consider the possibility of their children
    continuing and expanding the business. If they’ve accepted they could manage their business. If
    they haven’t accepted their offer, they should consider scouting their employees with the
    potential of managing their business. From here either the acceptance of their children for the job
    or scouting the employees for potential they will have to teach the ways of managing the
    business. Thus in doing this their problems will be solve and securing the future of the company.
