Problem:
 Delayed deliveries on parts requested by the mechanics
 Uneven supply of parts
 Large amount of obsolete parts

Goal:
1. Create a system so that there will not be any more delays on the delivery of requested parts.
2. Arrange the inventory and have a proper record of every spare part.
3. Dispose the large obsolete parts.

Strategy and Tactics

 Creating a system so that there will not be any more delays on the delivery of requested parts.
1. Enlist all the parts needed by the mechanic and when they are needed.
2. Check the storage inventory to see if the needed parts are on the list.
 If the needed parts are listed in the storage inventory, proceed to the next step.
 If the needed parts are not in the storage inventory, order directly from the suppliers and
notify the mechanics so that they could make the necessary adjustments.
3. Give the mechanics the needed part/s.

 Arranging the inventory by having a proper record of every spare part.

1. Create an organized inventory of parts in the storage room.
2. Re-stock the important parts that are in adequate.
3. Create a manifest of the parts that are taken in or out the storage room.
4. Constantly check the inventory to avoid lacking or over supply of parts.

 Disposing of obsolete parts

 Segregate the outdated parts from the ones in demand
1. Some may be sold for repurposing
2. Some are just trash
 For long term solution
1. After the mechanic replaced the needed parts in the bus, check if the remaining can be
sold or trashed
 If it can be sold then sell it
 If not, just throw it away

Resources needed

 A constant Supplier for replacement parts

 A manager that will oversee the plan

Standards

 Everything should be organized and in place with proper label.

 Everyone must follow the given time table.
