1. Touch Display
3|Page3
–– DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE MODELS ––
Note: The mentioned size is only for touch display, not for power module.
2) Now fit the touch display on the metal plate of Legrand and then fit the separated back plate on back again
by tightening the nuts.
3) Suppose if you’re fitting a 6 module touch display on an 8 module Legrand plate then you will have space of
2 modules unoccupied on your plate. On this remaining space, you can fit any Legrand accessory like socket,
4|Page4
dummy, USB socket, Telephone plug etc. and these accessories can also be operated using our touch display.
4) If you require to have more switches, then use 12 or 18 module Legrand plates in which you can fit two or
three 6 modules touch display respectively on the same Legrand plate-- one on the upper side of 12M Legrand
plate and the other on the lower side of 12M Legrand plate.
*All WhiteLion touch displays are fitted the same way as described here above.
NOTE: In all the products of WhiteLion, only Touch Displays come in modular sizes. Power Modules do not have any
modular sizes.
SAFETY TIPS:
1) If your home has a 3-phase electricity connection then first ensure that all the phases have almost equal
load distribution.
2) If all the phases do not have equal load distribution then there is a chance of electric short circuit and it may
defunct some home appliances as well in future.
1. 6F (Sprinkle)
For example, see the figure like below printed on the power
2. 2M (Drench)
See the figure like below printed on the power module of 2M (Drench)
5|Page5
When the touch switch is being used for bell, you must not use ‘ding dong’ bell or mechanical bell instead
you must use bird sound bell or electronic bell.
If you use ding dong bell or mechanical bell with touch switch, it has chances of burning out of bell in
future.
If there is an inverter at home then you must give the phase of inverter and neutral in the main power of power
module. It is compulsory for inverter based connection.
Note: It is for separating the phase of switch ‘1’ & switch ‘2’. Switch 3-5-4-6-7 gets its phase from main power L-N.
2. 4F (Baptize 2)
For example, see the figure like below printed on the power module of 4F (Baptize 2) box:
Wherever you see L-N on any product of WhiteLion, it means it is the main power of that switch board.
First box here is L – 1 – C so if L of this box is given inverter phase then the box’s off connection i.e. ‘1’
will run on inverter power and if L is given general power then switch ‘1’ will run on general power.
Here second box is 2 – L – N – F so as described earlier, wherever L-N is there, main power will be that
and if your home is using inverter supply then you must feed inverter power to main power.
Here in this box, 2 & F are getting power from L in this box. Hence when L-N (i.e. Main power) will get
inverter power, so 2 and F will also automatically run on inverter power.
3. 2M (Drench)
For example, see the figure like below printed on the power module of 2M (Aqua) box:
6|Page6
As described earlier, L-N is main power here and if your home has inverter power connection then you
have to feed inverter power in to main power of board.
In the first box here, it is L–1–C
so if ‘L’ of this box is given inverter phase then ‘1’ will run on
inverter phase too. And if ‘L’ is supplied general power then ‘1’ will run on general power.
The same as L–1–C also applies to L–2–C
The figure below shows how the power flows from inverter to home usually:
NOTE: In any touch switch around the world, only light can be two-way and fan can’t be.
For example,
suppose one house has two different switch boards 6F & 6M and you want to make the two-way switching
between those two switch boards. Here it is shown…

FOR AIR CONDITIONER:
You don’t need any external starter or switch to use AC with WhiteLion touch display.
For example,
If you want to run A.C. in ‘1’ of 6F(Sprinkle) then you can use WhiteLion’s 30 Ampere product named
“High Load” . After giving connection to “High Load’ it is put into a conceal box. The figure below shows
how it’s done:
AC IN’s neutral and AC OUT’s neutral don’t need to be extended to concealed box, both can be joined
directly with each other.
High Load only requires AC IN (phase) and AC OUT (OFF wire of AC) wires.
If AC is using 3-phase connection then AC IN should be given 3-phase power and if it’s using 1-phase
connection then AC IN should be given 1-phase power.
Use High Load only in Split/Window AC because in central AC, Cassette AC and VRF System etc you
have to operate directly with AC remote.
High load should also be used for Chimney, Fridge, Electric Geyser, Flour Mill and heavy light that
consumes more than 10 A current. High Load should be connected as below:
(for appliances other than AC)

FOR CONNECTING SOCKET TO TOUCH SWITCH:
Note: Be careful while inserting connector into touch display.
(See the figure on right for it) Be assure that connector & its
white socket should match with black dots on it.
POWER PROTECTOR:
All 6F & 4F products of WhiteLion come with 1 power protector (the one with yellow wire) in box that
is used to prevent high voltage fluctuations & protect home appliances.
This power protector is connected between phase & neutral of all the devices that contains motor
load.
Power protector must be installed in all the fans. If it is not installed in fan then the fan is at risk of
stopping work in future.
Fitting method:
Make sure Power protector is installed whether it’s exhaust fan, ceiling fan or any other fan before
turning on the power.
If your kitchen has sockets then you must install power protector in socket too, because customer
might be using mixer at some point.
This is how to connect it with socket:
If there is a heavy light or LED strip light on the ceiling of home then install Power protector between
Phase and Neutral of its driver/choke.
This is how to connect it with heavy light/LED light strip:
You can avail as many as power protectors required from respective dealer in your city.

All the switchboards of your home can be operated using single remote controller
For example, if you bring the remote in front of first switch board and
press L1 then it will on/off the light 1 of switchboard 1.
Similarly, when you take the remote in front of any other switchboard, it will turn
on/off the light 1 of that switchboard pressing button L1 from remote.
Now suppose the 12 module Legrand plate has 6F in the upper 6 module
and 4M in the lower 6 module.
So if the L1 of remote is pressed keeping remote in front of this 12 module plate then it will turn on
switch 1 in both 6F & 4M.
––– Now for the above example, see the following figure:
Now suppose you want to assign all the switches of 4M to remote. So press 1 for 5-15 seconds on 4M
and as soon as starts blinking then leave finger from ‘1’ and press L5 on the remote keeping it in front
of 4M. Then wait for 5 seconds.
Once you’ve done this, you can turn on/off 1 of the 4M using L5 from your remote.
You can assign any switch to any button of remote similarly.
Now suppose the 12 module Legrand plate has 6F in the upper 6 module and 4F in the lower 6
module.
So if you keep the remote in front of this 12 module board and press F1 then fans of both the board will be
on/off together. To solve this, remote has F2 button & up and down arrows.
Suppose you want to set a scene using S1 button of remote. You want it such a
way that when you press S1 from remote then & and Fan of 6F switchboard will
10 | P a g e 10
start together with Fan on level 2.
For that, touch on 6F. Now touch on & and Fan (on level 2).
Now touch for 5-15 seconds and then take the finger away from it. Now must be blinking
continuously. If it is blinking then bring the remote in front of it and press S1 from remote. Then wait for 5-
15 seconds.
Now, when you’ll press S1 then & & Fan will turn on with Fan on second level. If doesn’t blink
after touching it for 5-15 seconds then try touching it again exerting more pressure with your finger.
S1 to S6 are used to generate the scenes, but to off the scene you must have to press in remote.
If the white light emitting from switch board is disturbing you while sleep, press keeping the remote in
front of board. If you want to turn that white light on again, press the button again.
