Program
5th Edition Learner Course Slide Show
PRINT AND READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING

System Requirements: PC with Windows 2000 or higher operating system. Not Macintosh
compatible.
 Insert the CD and print out these instructions.
 This CD will work with Windows 98 Second Edition, however, older operating systems interfere
with the appearance and performance of the slide show. Therefore, it is strongly
recommended that you use a PC with Windows 2000 or higher operating system.
 These files are packaged with SecurePack and PowerPoint Viewer 2003. This means you do
not have to have PowerPoint 2002 or XP to run this program.
 The first time you launch the CD, you may be asked to: Accept the Terms of the Licensing
Agreement, in which case, click on “I do Accept”.
 To improve loading speeds, the slide program was divided into the following shows:
o Sugar and Safe care Module
o Temperature Module
o Airway Module
o Blood pressure, Lab work, Emotional support, Quality improvement Modules
 You may launch each file one at a time or open all of them before you begin.
 If you have an older computer or insufficient computer memory, it may take several minutes for
each module to load. A pentium II or greater computer is strongly recommended. If a module
does not launch on the first try, click on that module again.
