-The plant will be located at Barangay Man-it, Passi City, Iloilo, Philippines. The
location was chosen due to the proximity of a cane sugar manufacturing plant, the
vast pineapple plantations nearby, and the relatively flat land alongside the
Jalaur River. The proposed location of the plant has a total area of 15 hectares.
Thirteen of which will be used for the manufacturing plant and the remaining 2
hectares will be for the office and other facilities of the plant. The raw
materials will be taken from the pineapple plantations and sugar manufacturing
plants within the vicinity of Passi City. Prospective sources of raw materials are
the local pineapple producers of Passi City (for pineapple leaves) and Central
Azucarera de San Antonio in Barangay Cadilang, Passi City.
