LEARNING OBJECTIVE: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

Able to respond to literary text :(c) Value

ACTIVITIES : -Teacher Asks pupils to read the Jungle Book story in chapter 1.

- Pupils read the story in group with teacher’s guidance.

- Teacher asks pupils to choose at least a moral value in the chapter 1.

-Pupils write the moral value in their exercise book.

TEACHING AIDS : Story book, whiteboard, exercise book, marker pen

EMK : Thinking Skills

MORAL VALUE : Helping each other

REFLECTION : 35 out of 38 pupils able to read and understand chapter 1 of the story and list

down at least a moral value with the examples. 3 of them given a simple moral value to list down.

ACTIVITIES : -Teacher ask pupils to read the story in chapter 3

-Pupils read the story individually.

-Teacher read the chapter and guide the pupils read together.

-Pupils then list down the character that involved in chapter 2.

Reflection : 25 out of 27 pupils able to read chapter 3 with teachers guidance and able to list

down at least 3 character that involved in chapter 2 clearly. 2 of them need

guidance.
