Key achievements/projects
 50% reduction of manual payroll paperwork in 6 months.
 Reducing manual reporting by 80% in the first year.
 Successfully planned, launched and completed the implementation of the ABB Global Grading
System for jobs, including communication strategies and mop-up in a positive way.
 Redesigned and implemented the local benefit structure in line with ABB’s global guidelines for fair
and equitable compensation.

In this role I was responsible for ensuring the planning and execution of all standard ABB Group employee
processes for the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Pakistan

Key responsibilities
 Compensation & Benefits: Ensuring the alignment of local compensation practices & policies in all
countries in the sub-region so as to ensure as much standardisation as possible.
 Talent Management – Shared responsibility for overseeing Talent Management and Learning &

well as Allowance Payments process, for full legal compliance.
 Initiated and ensured finalisation and implementation of a redrafted employment contract in the
UAE for full legal compliance.
 Created a new form of temporary employment contract in the UAE for periodic hosting of
professional employees from other ABB countries.
