PROVINCIAL JAIL OUTREACH PROGRAM

Status of Outreach program: We still have to send a letter from their office so
we need to assign anyone who normally pass by the area near Provincial Jail to
inquire how many beneficiaries are there and to whom should we address the letter
so we can already schedule our outreach program.

What to consider?

1. Goods to be given to the beneficiaries

c. Toothpaste
d. Tissue Rolls
e. Ear buds
f. Pocket Alcohol
g. Detergent powder for washing clothes
h. Stock of Foods/Daily food supplies:
i. Easy-to-open canned goods (e.g. San Marino Tuna, Corned
beef, etc.)
ii. Biscuits
iii. Juice
iv. Oatmeals
v. Energen, Milo, etc.
2. Transportation service for the goods and the students
a. Rent a jeepney with a driver
b. Persons who have cars
3. Prizes and Tokens
a. Shirts (inmates wear yellow shirts)
b. Foods
c. Snacks

What are not allowed?

1. Anything sharp or pointy.

What to wear?

1. UC shirt

INTRODUCTION

 Inmates and law students

INTERMISSION

 Any songs that are entertaining, mapa EX-B man yan. Although, preferably
Christian Songs.

GAMES

 At least three (3) games and with prizes


 Law students must ACTIVELY participate in every game.
o This is one of the concerns that we observed because some inmates
did not feel that the students liked what they are doing. Thus, we
encourage ALL STUDENTS to actively participate in every activity
and try to get to know them and relate with them.
 NOTE: One of our games was to know the names of the at least 5 inmates
and their age and where they are originally from or where do they live if
they are from Baguio or La Trinidad area.

LUNCH

 Packed lunch
 To be confirmed with the Head of the Provincial Jail if they will allow us to
bring packed lunch.
