The following steps are taken during any Marine Warranty Project:
1. Early Involvement / Client Consulting
During this phase the MWS meets with the Client /
Developer and Project Contractors set the common
grounds and principles for the subsequent project
development.
The MWS explains the acceptable path to be taken
for document issuing and subsequent operational
behaviour.
2. Review and Acceptance of Documents
During this phase the MWS receives the relevant
method statements, asset structural reports, grillage
and seafastening, transporting units’ strength and
stability, soil site specific assessments, station
keeping / mooring analyses, etc.
Following to their assessment Technical Review
Notes are issued to the Client, the final scope being
the acceptance of the principles and contents of
these deliverables.
The combination of the above services can circumvent potential sources of failure such as inadequate
marine units and equipment, faults in design, as well as minimize human errors.

3. Units and Equipment Suitability Surveys
All involved units and equipment are pre-
surveyed in order to insure suitability /

compliance with MWS requirements and
industry standards.
These inspections generate Suitability Survey
Reports that either tell that the unit is
acceptable or unacceptable (also showing the
criticalities and eventual corrections that might
be performed).
4. Pre-operational and Operational Survey
Following to the completion of the pre-
operational COA check-lists, Certificates of
Approval are issued. Operations are then
monitored in order to have the certainty that no
deviations from the approved procedures /
documents occur.
5. Project-related MWS Consulting
Most of our projects also contain the
consultancy clause that entitles the Client to
ask for support and advice whenever he
pursues operational optimization or reaches
dead ends / criticalities.
