1: Cosa fare se ho perso la password?
Risposta: Non è possibile utilizzare il disco se si dimentica la password.
L’HDD potrà comunque essere utilizzato nuovamente, ma sarà necessario formattarlo
perdendo tutti i dati salvati al suo interno.

2: Cosa fare se si rompe il box?

Risposta: Inserendo il disco in un nuovo box HDD dello stesso modello di quello non più
funzionante, sarà sufficiente inserire la password del vecchio per accedere al disco.

3: Posso crittografare solo una parte dell’ HDD?

Risposta: Al momento questa funzione non è disponibile, il disco viene crittografato per
intero.

4: Cosa succede se inserisco una password errata più volte?

Risposta: È possibile inserire una password errata illimitatamente senza che il dispositivo si
blocchi.

5: Cosa succede se sbaglio durante il cambio di password?

Risposta: È sufficiente inserire la vecchia password per accedere ai dati.

6: Cosa succede se l’hdd crittografato non viene usato per molto tempo? E se non lo uso
per poco tempo? È possibile utilizzare il pulsante di blocco quando il dispositivo è
scollegato da un pc?
Risposta: Il dispositivo si blocca dopo 5-10 minuti che non viene utilizzato. È possibile
configurare questo tempo. E’ possibile inoltre impostare il blocco manualmente.

7: È possibile utilizzare I dati contenuti nell’ HDD di un dispositivo crittografato collegandolo

ad un altro box USB?
Risposta: No, l’HDD una volta crittografato, può essere letto solo tramite un BOX dello
stesso modello.

8: Dove viene conservata la password? E’ possibile recuperare la password dalla scheda

madre del BOX?
Risposta: NO. La password è codificata e posizionata in memorie diverse, non è possibile
recuperarla lavorando sull’elettronica del dispositivo.

1: How to do if lost password ?
Answer : It is not possible to restore HDD if lost password.
It don’t have access to HDD if lost password.
HDD can be use again after it be newly partitioned & formatted.
But all the data stored in HDD will be lost.

2: How to do if HDD Enclosure broken ?

Answer : You should buy the completely same HDD Enclosure from us,
And press the same password you kept, then it allows accessing to HDD’s data.

3: If the HDD can be partially encrypted,and partially NO encrypted ?

Answer : Now it could only be completely encrypted .

4: What is the situation if enter wrong password many times ?

Answer : You could not allow access to HDD’s data if enter wrong password ;
There is unlimited times to enter wrong password.

5: What is the situation if changing password is failure ?

Answer : It only need to enter the original password,and it still allow to access to data of
HDD

6: What is the situation if HDD don’t work long time but it had been access to data of HDD
yet ? What happens if you left for a while ? It is possible to press “lock” button to encrypt
HDD directly without pull off USB cable from PC ?
Answer : It could have factory default setting of automatically “lock” when no use for a while,
like 5~10 minutes, or setting the time as you want when produce. This is automatically
“Lock “ . We also could give setting of “Lock “by press button by hands when produce if you
want .

7: If the HDD-A removes from Encrypted HDD Enclosure-A, then put HDD-A into another
normal HDD Enclosure-B ,If the HDD-A is still allow to access to data ?
Answer : No, normal HDD Enclosure-B is not allow access to HDD-A .
HDD-A keep the same password as you created before.When you install HDD-A into a
completely same model Encrypted HDD Enclosure-B from the same factory, it is allow
access to HDD-A with your original password .

If you install another no-encrypted HDD-B (it was used before) into Encrypted HDD
Enclosure-A , how to access to data of HDD-B and how to create the password ?
Answer : It is not allow to access to data HDD-B. You should partition and format HDD-B as
new one as manual’s operations .

8: Where does the password stored ? Can the password be stole if it stole the flash on
PCB?
Answer : NO. The password be stored different places, It could not stole the password if
stole the flash from PCB .
