On Saturday 17th october , I went to Jakarta to attend the event named Apufy. Apufy stands
for as Asia Pacific Urban Forum Youth assembly. My and other delegates from aceh’s flight was at 7
am on Saturday. We arrived in CKG airport at 10 am. After that we went to Ministry of Public Works
and Public Housing office in south Jakarta. We had opening event on that day . It was a very luxurious
Opening. The commitee served us with a very good Dinner. I could find the cuisine from whole Asia
Pacific there , but I still choose Indonesia’s cuisine.

At 10 pm we were brought to Shangrila Hotel in the center of Jakarta by shuttle bus. My room
number was 1623. I really hoped to get roomate from other country , but I got roomate from
Indonesia. At first i was dissapointed until I found out how intersting she was. Her name is Alya. She
came from Bandung . She is 5th semester’s student International Relation in Parahyangan University.
She was born on 1996 , So i called her ‘kak’ ( cause I was born on 1997 and i am on 3rd semester ).
Instead of being student , she is also working as model yet she is smart , friendly , communicative and
has a lot of achievements. We slept late at night on that day because we watched Jimmy Fallon show
on CNBC and laughed so hard in the middle of night.

On the second day ( Sunday ) , I got more friends from other countries . They were so nice. I
am happy to be their friends. I observed their habit and I found out that most of them had the writing
habit. They wrote almost everything which they got from the event and posted it social media right
after while most participant from Indonesia just sat down and listened to the presentation. I knew
that Indonesia’s participant will also write and share things they got from event to social media , but
posting it right after i think is more efective.

Instead of knowledge , I also got another things such as I learned how to respect other people,
how to build connection , how to react to other culture, etc.

It was a great event . I was happy to be part of it. I hope that I can meet them again either in
my country or in their country.
