mentorship opportunities, future oriented goal-setting, and family engagement for Hispanic students, families, and school staff
• Ranson IB Middle School Culture Cadre: Led a team of ten teachers to promote positive behavior and relationships for 1000
students through the planning of character education and life skills lessons for the bi-weekly advisory program and the
coordination of bi-weekly positive behavior incentives for all grade levels
• Hornet’s Innovation Grant: Awarded $5000 grant to fund a College Ambassador program where 50 students traveled to UNC,
North Carolina A&T, and Davidson College in order to explore post-secondary options and share their learning with their peers
• Project L.I.F.T. Irreplaceable Teacher: Identified by school administration as a top-quartile staff member in competencies such
as teamwork, coachability, achievement, belief in learning potential, impact, and influence
