Task: Start editing footage from the mini-
documentary.
Continue the first tutorial video.
I did not work on the mini-documentary. Since the
footage for my mini-documentary is limited in some
aspect, like the cinematics of the IICS campus, I will
postpone editing it until I finish collecting footage for
it.

Time: 2 hours I continued editing my tutorial. I scheduled to do my

voiceovers for all my tutorials on January 8. However,
I’ve become less and less confident of the footage
quality. As I suspected, the underwater camera I
purchased films quite poorly. I will continue editing
my tutorials so that if I have to replace the footage,
my format is already set. However, if I cannot find a
solution for this poor quality footage, I might have to
 consider refilming with a new camera.

For the write up section, I worked on editing my
process journal and reflecting on my action plan,
which I hadn’t for about a week. I forgot to record my
voice overs due to the other homework I had today. I
will simply record the voiceovers tomorrow.
I recorded the voiceovers for all my tutorials. After
talking with Mr. Carlson, I have concluded that I must
postpone the completion of my tutorial due to the
fact that the underwater camera has a poor filming
quality—240p. I have received permission from my
parents to buy a GoPro Hero 5. to film again for my
tutorials. I will film from the 20-21 January. This does
not create a problem with my voice overs, since I can
keep them and simply add them to my tutorials later.
All my editing for the tutorials are currently irrelevant,
so I will have to push the dates until I get my tutorials
done.

four different student evaluators I selected
in December.
During my morning bus ride, I had Jaime, Kat, and Axel
all watch my videos individually and then I handed
them my survey during the school day for them to
evaluate it. During break time I went through the
same procedure with Leo.
 I will also have Mr. Benard evaluate my vlog Finally, during lunch time I met with Mr. Benard. He

the survey to him.

the plan, since I had to reshoot all my
underwater footage. This is why they are

Task: Collect all the footage for the butterfly
and backstroke tutorials.
At home edit the butterfly footage to
complete the majority of that tutorial.
All tasks were completed as expected today. While I
said the format from the previously created tutorials
would be useful, it really is not and I have to edit the
videos from scratch. Because of all the editing
intricacies, it seems editing the each tutorial may take
approximately 5 hours.

 to get my feedback on the first draft for that. Then,
the meeting for his final evaluation of all my work will

I have completed about 4 and a half minutes of the

freestyle tutorial. I will complete and polish it up
tomorrow.
