How to Take a TEOFL iBT Test:

1. Open https://toefl-registration.ets.org/TOEFLWeb/extISERLogonPrompt.do and register

yourself for an TOEFL iBT test online.
2. In this website, you will be guided step by steps to register yourself for the TOEFL iBT test,
starting from the personal data of the test taker, the place where you plan to take the exam,
and do an online payment. (you can have an online registration step guidelines in pdf:
https://www.ets.org/Media/Tests/TOEFL/pdf/4677_TOEFL_Reg_Guide.pdf)
3. After you register yourself, choose the place of the exam taking, set the date of your exam,
choose the score recipients address and e-mail, you will receive printable receipt. Save or
print it as the prove for the exam day.

6. the score will be given by email and paper copy (if you order earlier) The TOEFL iBT test
provides scores in 4 skill areas — Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing — and a total
score:
a. Reading 0–30
b. Listening 0–30
c. Speaking 0–30
 d. Writing 0–30

Total Score 0–120. The total score is the sum of the 4 skill scores.

7. Scores will be posted online approximately 10 days after the test date. Log in to your TOEFL
online account, enter the ETS ID number you received when you registered, and click "View
Scores." A score report posting schedule (PDF) for each test date is available on the TOEFL
iBT website, and you will receive an email letting you know when your scores have been
posted.

You can also download and print a PDF copy of your test taker score report. The PDF will be
available within 3 days of the date your scores are posted online. (Note: PDF score reports
are currently not available for tests taken in China.)

Your scores are also sent to the institutions or agencies you selected (and to you, if you
requested a paper copy before you took the test). Allow 7–10 days for mail delivery in the
United States and 4–6 weeks for other areas. ETS has no control over mail delivery to
locations around the world. We recommend that you take the test 2 to 3 months before
your earliest application or other deadline.
8. ETS reports scores for 2 years after the test date.
9. Your test fee includes:
a. your scores, posted to your TOEFL online account
b. a paper copy of your Test Taker Score Report (only if you requested it before you
took the test)
c. a PDF copy of your Test Taker Score Report, which can be downloaded and printed
from your account (Note: PDF score reports are currently not available for tests
taken in China.)
d. up to 4 official score reports that ETS will send directly to the institutions or agencies
you select before you take the test. Keep in mind that if you designate any
institution or agency to receive your scores, you will not be able to have your
Writing and/or Speaking sections rescored through the Score Review service.
