Historische Tremolomundharmonika in G
Die Hochlandsklänge ist weder eine Oktav-, noch eine Tremolo Mundharmonika, obwohl die
Stimmzungenanordnung ähnlich ist. Die Doppeltöne dieser Mundharmonika sind in Terzen,
Quinten und Sexten gestimmt. Melodien und Begleitung erklingen daher automatisch
mit ungewöhnlichen zusätzlichen Tönen, die das Spielen auf diesem Instrument sehr
interessant machen.
Das Tonkonzept dieser diatonischen Mundharmonika wird bei Seydel bereits

seit 1920 gebaut. Die komplette diatonische Tonleiter ist in G-Dur spielbar. Beim
Blasen erklingen dem G-Dur Akkord und beim Ziehen dem D-Dur verwandte
Akkorde. Das Instrument ist vorzüglich für alpenländische Volksmusik
und besonders für latein-amerikanische Rhythmen geeignet.

The “Hochlandsklänge“ is neither a Tremolo nor an octave harmonica, though the arrangement of notes
is similar to both. The pairs of notes of this harmonica are tuned to thirds, fiths or sixths. Melodies and
accompaniment sound with unusual additional notes which make playing of this instrument very interesting.
The note layout has been built by Seydel since 1920. One can play the full diatonic scale in G on this instrument.
On blowing one gets a chord related to G major and on draw one gets a chord related to the D-major chord.
This makes this instrument especially suited for folk music from the Alps or playing Hispanic rhythms.

The Fanfare is a Tremolo harmonica that is optimized for air tightness and can therefore be played very easily
with a sonority that is unusual for a tremolo harmonica. In contrast to other tremolo models,
the player can play very softly and without much air – the feel of the instrument is just like a chromatic harmonica.
Those who know our harmonicas well will see that a Chromatic De Luxe is the basis of the Fanfare - the Fanfare
is our best tremolo harmonica and is especially designed to be loud enough when playing together with other
instruments!
Available with configurable note layout.
As an option one can apply a megaphone (not included) that
not only looks nice but also enhances the volume and allows
special effects (dampening, hand vibrato, wah-wah).
