VLT® EtherNet/IP MCA 121
High performance EtherNet/IP fieldbus option for VLT® AutomationDrive and VLT® AQUA Drive.
The VLT® Ethernet Option offers con-
nectivity to EtherNet/IP based net-
works, such as Rockwell PLC-system
via the Common Industry Protocol
(CIPTM) protocol.
The option can handle a single EIP
Class 1 connection with an Actual
Packet Interval (API) of 2 ms in both
directions. This makes it one of the
highest performing EIP devices in the
market.
The option features a built-in 2-port
Ordering number switch, enabling the possibility for

traditional line network topology, and

eliminating the need for complex
cabling and expensive industrial
Ethernet switches.
Other features:
n Built-in web-server for remote
diagnosis and reading out basic
drive parameters.
n An E-mail notificator can be
configured for sending an e-mail
message to one or several receivers,
if certain warnings or alarms occur,
or have cleared again.
