we’re still not sure. True shopaholics shop because they can’t help it. They shop when they are feeling

depressed, and are used to (5) _________________ money as a way of coping with the world. They do not shop

because they enjoy it, or because they need the things they buy. They buy things because they feel they have to.

been able to get (7) __________ her desperate need to buy useless things but in those days, if we ever went

shopping together, she would space (8) ___________ and not even pay attention to whatever I said or did: she

After she had to borrow money from her parents to pay her debts, she cut down on her shopping trips and thinks

twice if she actually needs that flowery dress or those leather boots. And what about you? Do you consider

yourself a shopaholic?
