1.0 Introduction.
The Malaysian Trades Union Congress, MTUC in Sabah was started in the
era 1980 until now. MTUC Sabah consists of internal and external unions.
MTUC in Sabah expanding in the plantation sector due to the economic market
at that moment. Mtuc in sabah has joined the public sector to ensure the role of
mtuc can be implemented. MTUC is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur and will
hold a meeting once every three years represented by chairman MTUC Sabah.
MTUC role in Sabah consisting of state and international levels. This forum will
be discussed by Awang Ali Ahmad Raji as a chairman MTUC in Sabah about role
of MTUC in Sabah, next by Catherine Jikunan as a secretary MTUC in Sabah
about relevant of industrial 4.0 in global era.
2.0 Objective.
Generally, we know role MTUC is protecting and fight the worker’s rights.
But MTUC role also In state and international levels. In State level, MTUC role
more to the worker’s right. Example, help the worker to get the new knowledge

to improve thier life style and can fight in global era. MTUC will help the worker
by holding lectures, courses and forums. MTUC will also be a clamps for
workers in a corporate court. MTUC role in a international is thier involved with
ILO. One of the MTUC fighters internationally is leveling the same salaries in
Sabah, Sarawak and Semenanjung. This MTUC role especially in Sabah, we can
see how hardworking they to fight about the right worker’s though they will
facing many problem.
5.0 Conclusion.
MTUC must relevant with the industry 4.0 and should moving in tandem to
make sure them can fight the worker’s rights. It is because industry 4.0 can
give many effect to the working enviroment. MTUC should flexible in many
ways. In my opinion, MTUC can provide system that everbody can use just
using the telephone to dealing with them and and no longer use the centralized
administration.
