dead himself/ herself.
Wearing black or white attire – symbolize mourning.
Tears fallen to the casket of the dead – symbolize bad luck.
Money on hand of the diseased – symbolize good luck or lucky.
Cut Rosary – it should be cut so that no one in the family member will not be
next to passed away.
Taking a bath in the house – when there’s a burial in the house, it is bad luck to
get shower or bath.
Cleaning the house – symbolize bad luck during burial.
Throwing coins- when you see a marching of the dead, throwing coins in a street
symbolizes fortune, help and respect for the family of the diseased person.
Back and forth of child on the top of the casket – so that the dead, not to visit
them.
Buried before 12 noon – symbolize bad luck in the family, loved one passed
away should be buried before 12 noon.
All the left over foods – should be distributed to all neighbors not in the member
of the family. It shows unlucky, when it will not be distributed.
