1. How did the application of scientific management affect the production of the Ford
Model T?

The application of scientific management in Ford's production line greatly affected the company
because it allowed them to maximize production while minimizing costs thereby giving the
company the chance to take lead in the industry producing 15 million Model T automobiles.

2. How were the production workers affected by the employment of scientific management
in Ford’s Model T factories?

Although the scientific management method employed by ford in its production line worked
well, the employees due to doing repetitive tasks were experiencing mental strains and boredom.
The company also faced rampant absenteeism and resignations.

3. Did the solutions implemented by Ford effectively address his worker’s problems?
Explain?

No it did not. Though the efforts of ford were sound, many workers were still bored and were not
contented with just high wages.

4. Should Ford be more concern with improving production methods or improving the
welfare of his employees? Justify your answer.

Ford automobile company should be more concerned with the welfare of its employees as these
people are the main driving force of the growth of their company. Looking out for your
employees and addressing their concerns would greatly improve job satisfaction in the company
and thus efficiency.

The workers did repetitive tasks due to the way production was done thus causing them mental
strains. With this change absenteeism and resignation were rampant.

3. Did the solutions implemented by Ford effectively address his worker’s problems?
Explain?

No, because despite having higher wages it did not address the boredom of the workers.

4. Should Ford be more concern with improving production methods or improving the
welfare of his employees? Justify your answer.

I think Ford should be more concern with improving the welfare of his employees because they
are one of the most important persons in the company. Without them the production will not be
as effective as it could be.
