ll those popular, powerful organizations such as
radio and TV networks, newspapers, books, maga-
zines, movies, rock music, government schools,
main line Judeo-Christian churches, etc, are the
“mass-media.” The mass-media are ostensibly keeping the
public well-informed concerning all the information avail-
able, and, unfortunately, most people blindly trust in the
mass-media’s perceived honesty, integrity and accuracy.
However, the few independent-thinking, discerning
individuals who do not blindly trust the mass-media can
see that the mass-media are deceiving the public on many
subjects by disseminating myths.
Of course, myths are harmless when they are recognized
for what they really are: stories which are not true. But the
danger arises when people are not aware that they ARE
myths: when they actually think the myths are true. At this
point the withholding of important information becomes a
tool of deception that creates myths used by the reporters
of information for mind control. This creates the age-old
problem described in the Bible:
“My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge...”
Hosea 4:6a
Unfortunately, this is occurring in the world today. The
elaborate system of mass-media mythology existing in our
society covers a wide range of subjects calculated to mold
a slave mentality so people will be easier for the masters to
control.
This book presents an illustrated guide to the other side
of some of those established myths, and presents a Chris-
tian patriotic viewpoint which is routinely suppressed in the
mass-media. Most of the artwork you will see on the fol-

lowing pages is the result of a collaboration between the artist and each
pastor. I first began political cartooning in 1967 when pastor Sheldon
Emry came to me with his book, Billions for the Bankers Brings Debts
to the People. He had the idea of illustrating it with political cartoons.
After I drew the cartoons for that book, some of which are contained
in this book, Pastor Emry continued to come up with cartoon ideas on
a regular basis, and the majority of the cartoons in this book are his
ideas.
Most Judeo-Christians would be appalled at the idea that a Chris-
tian pastor would dare use a “political” cartoon as a tool to spread the
truth. Since the false doctrine of separation of Christianity and govern-
ment has been taught so fervently over the past decades, many people
think it is not a pastor’s place to deal with subjects concerning politics
and government. They do not believe in the free exercise of Christian-
ity in all areas of life as the Bible teaches.
However, prior to this neutralizing doctrine, which mass-media
mythology self-righteously labels as “separation of church and state,”
people would have been appalled if a pastor DID NOT deal with
the subjects of politics and government! In fact, the clergy that were
the driving force behind the American fight for independence were
highly educated men, knowledgeable in ALL subjects. They dealt with
them—even politics and government—in their sermons from a Biblical
perspective.
Pastor Emry was one of the leading pioneer pastors in the reawak-
ening of this Christian patriotic ideology our founding fathers and the
Bible advocated. As a result, he brought a practical message to Chris-
tians from the Bible on many burning issues of the day where previ-
ously, Judeo-Christian pastors had given only vague guidance.
And it was only natural to use political cartoons as a teaching tool.
Pastor Emry was the first pastor I knew of in the last two decades who
made use of the political cartoon. It soon became one of his trade-
marks and those on his mailing list looked forward to seeing new
cartoons each year.

After his death in June 1985 another pastor came along to continue
in the same spirit of Christian patriotism. And he learned from Pastor
Emry that the political cartoon was indeed an effective tool in his mis-
sion to teach the gospel of the kingdom.
He was Ben Williams, who was Pastor Emry’s assistant pastor. He
began his own national ministry, American Covenant Church, about
a year after Pastor Emry’s death, later becoming American Christian
Ministries, and Ben has effectively used political cartoons to illustrate
many of the articles in his newsletters. Those cartoons are in this book.
A number of cartoons he came up with while serving as the editor
for Pastor Emry’s newsletter during 1985-1986 are also included in this

book. “Slaves to the Rhythm” and “Blood Money” are two examples
of these.
Pastor Williams’ cartoon ideas are insightful and thought-provoking
mini-lessons. They present a necessary Biblical world view for today’s
Patriotic Christians.

The cartoons in this book are different than the political cartoons you
see running every day in the large newspaper chains. Generally, there
are more words and detail in these cartoons than in the ones for the
large newspapers.
The reason for this is that the political cartoonists for the large news-
papers have the help of all the mass-media to get their side of the story
out to the public. So, the reader has already been educated to a great
extent before he comes across the cartoon.
Yet, most of the cartoons in this book deal with news and informa-
tion that has been suppressed by the mass-media. As a result, the
cartoon, itself has the burden of not only making a point, but of also
educating the reader as to the suppressed information.
These cartoons generally get more mileage than mass-media car-
toons because they deal with broader concepts than the specific, every-
day politics you normally see in the large newspapers. This means that
even though most of the cartoons herein originally appeared in Pastor
Emry’s or Pastor Williams’ newsletter and mailings over the last 15-20
years, they still are timely because the problems they attack are still
plaguing our nation. If some of them ARE outdated, then they serve
as the accurate suppressed view of history which opposed mass-media
mythology at the time.
This book can be used in different ways. Since all the cartoons in this
book are copyright-free, they can be reproduced without permission by
Patriotic Christians in order to spread the truth further.
Or this collection of cartoons can serve as a basic overview of differ-
ent subject that might cause people to begin thinking independently of
the pervasive mass-media myth-mongers and do some of their own
research into the suppressed details of each subject
Which ever way it is used, I hope it is utilized to spread truth and
keep the flame of free speech and independent thought burning in
America.

MIND CONTROL
At first the claim of mind control sounds like some sort
of wild sci-fi B movie plot. But when you use the moral
thinking and standards of the past as a sounding board to
see how far the public’s current moral thinking has strayed,
combined with the obvious propaganda and conditioning
techniques employed by every sector of society from
schools to TV to religious institutions, the claim doesn’t
seem that farfetched.

As Americans, we have been so indoctrinated to believe

what the establishment tells us, that we no longer desire
to really think for ourselves outside of government and
religious prescribed parameters.

“Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity

opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social
environment. Most people are even incapable of forming
such opinions.”
Albert Einstein
US (German-born) physicist (1879 - 1955)
