(2) After considering such representation the appropsiate Government shal forward it along with such remarks as it may chocee to make 1o the college or institution conoemed, with an intimation ofthe ~ period within which the colege or inettuton, as the caso may be, may submit its explanation tothe approptate Government, {3}. On receipt ofthe explanation or where no explanation is submited within the period flxed, then on the expiny of that period, the State Government, in respect of the cobege or instution referred to in clause (b) of sub-section (5), shall make its recommendations to the Central Government. (2) The Central Government ~ (@) after making euch further enquiry, if any, as Ik may think Mt, in respect of the cofege or Institution referred to in sub-section (3), or (©) on receipt of the explanation from a culege or insttion refered to in clause (a) of su- section (6), or where no explanation is subrnitted within the poriog xed, then on the expiry of that period, may, by notfication in the Oficial Gazette, direct that an enty shall be made In the Schedile against the architectural qualiftatons awarded by such college or Instituto, as the case may be, cecaring that t shal bo a recogrised qualifeaton only when granted botore a specified date and the Schedule shal be deemed to be amended accordingly. (©) For the purposes ofthis ection, “appropriate government" means = 18) In relation to any college or institution established by an Act of Pariament or managed, controlled or financed by the Central Government, the Central Government. ang (©) Inany other case, the State Goverment ‘The Council may prescribe the minimum standards architectural education required for granting recognised qualifications by colleges or insituiions in India (1) The Council may by regulations prescribe standards of professional conduct and etiquette and a ‘olde of ethics for architocts. (2) Regulations made by the Council uncer sub-section (1) may specy which violations thereof shall ‘constitute infamous conduc in any ortessional espact, tha to say, prtessional misconduct, ‘and such provision shall have effect notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the me being in force.
