MY RESEARCH BIBLIOGRAPHY
At this point, you have selected the important references, so it is now time to develop your bibliographic
listing of not just your academic journal articles but other studies and literature. Develop the reference
listing using the new style of the American Psychological Association (see
http://www.calstatela.edu/library/guides/3apa.pdf).
List down all the theories, principles, concepts and models you have encountered in previous classes
and/or in your readings and downloaded academic journal articles. The T, P, C or M can even come from
other disciplines, take note.

EXERCISE 4 (PART 2)
CLUSTERING MY DISCIPLINAL THEORIES,
CONCEPTS, PRINCIPLES AND MODELS
From your list of theories, principles, concepts and models (see part 1), develop a clear-cut clustering of
your disciplinal explanatory frameworks. The number of clusters will depend on the richness of your
listing.
By this time, you have already selected the variables you plan to explore. So given the readings you
have all made, answer this question: Which among the conceptual tags/variables/parameters are
considered important and controversial in your field?
If a lexical or conceptual definition, cite the reference after the sentence. If stipulative definition and it is
inspired from references, cite the reference/s as well.
Then determine what argument are you going to advance (i.e. the impact of the variable_) for each
conceptual tag: Is it a relationship (R), effect (E) or difference (D)?
