Astra Apartments has been operating since 2001 and now has over 500 apartments in 21
locations across Australia. Astra Apartments supply furnished apartments for corporate
relocations, longer-term business stays and work for well-regarded corporations.
This is an attractive proposition for investors as the apartment will be well looked after (weekly
service clean and regular departure clean) and carpets are steam cleaned regularly. Astra
Apartments are not heavily used for cooking, washing, etc, and there is lower risk of void
periods over an extended period.
Astra is a low cost, low effort and low risk as a tenant. We will be undertaking some of the
minor maintenance tasks that would otherwise be a pain for RE agents/Landlords. References
from existing Letting Agents are provided below.
Astra has more than a vested interest in making sure that the apartment is a pleasant
residential experience so is in no way a threat to the objectives of an Owners Corporation,
Letting Agent or Owner.
The types of people that typically have used our service previously.
Our clients are blue chip corporates and relocation management companies such as Macquarie
Bank, Crown Worldwide, Kent Relocations, Accenture and Ernst and Young. Occupants are
typically single people that are required to work away from their home office for a project or
secondment. They chose Astra as preferred supplier of high quality, temporary residential
accommodation so we do everything we can to preserve a peaceful experience in all the
buildings that we lease apartments. We have some apartments that we have leased continually
for 14 years.
What our service includes and how often we service the apartment.
All occupants are met on arrival, informed of all Strata byelaws and given a full orientation of
the apartment and locality. Any minor maintenance issues are dealt with by us and there is a
weekly service clean / linen change. A full exit clean completed with each change of occupant.
We ensure that no smoking happens in the apartment. Any requirement for remedial deep
cleaning is charged to the occupant.
