CHAPTER 3

TECHNICAL ASPECT

This chapter will focus mainly on the technical aspect of the business. It gives emphasis

on location and facility layout, product and service description, production flow chart, list of

equipments and machineries to be used in the business, production schedule, project Gantt chart

and list of raw materials and suppliers.

LOCATION AND FACILITY LAYOUT

This project will be constructed at Mandalagan-Lacson Street in front of Robinson’s

Place Bacolod. This is a construction plan whose goal is to provide services that would help

customers release some stress by indulging to some spa and wellness treat. The location site of

the project is convenient for the customers and parking lots will be provided. See Appendix A.

PRODUCT/SERVICE DESCRIPTION

PRODUCTS

• Cȃ-can Organic Garden

Caesar Salad – It is a salad of romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with parmesan

cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, egg, worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper.

Potato Salad – Dish made from boiled potatoes and a variety of others ingredients.

Considered as a side dish.

Garden Salad – Made of leafy greens and tossed with chopped vegies, fruits, herbs,

beans, seeds, and nuts.


Coleslaw Salad - Shredded cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. Whisk together with a

mayonnaise, sour cream, onions, sugar, vinegar, mustard, celery salt, salt, and pepper in a

medium bowl.

Grilled Corn Salad – Grilled Mexican Corn Salad is an off – the – cob play on a popular

Mexican dish.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULES

We will open our shop Mondays to Sundays at exactly 9:30 A.M. We won’t tolerate late

arrivals for our staffs. We will always secure their logging in and out to avoid mischiefs. We will

also divide our whole day into two shifts:

 The first should arrive 30 min – 1 hour before the opening of the store, then they will do

cleaning and setting up the equipment that will be used in store services. The store will be

open at 10:00 A.M and will be served by the first shift personnel’s. Lunch break will be

at 12:00 to 1:00 P.M and they will go back to their post until 4:00 P.M.

 The second shift time in will start in 4:00 and will end by 10: 00 P.M. They will take over

the post of the first shift. Second shift will have their dinner break from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M

after their dinner break they will go back to their post until 10:00 P.M closing of shop.
