GREEK
The Skene is the green room of
yesterday's time. The skene is where the
actors and actresses changed costumes
and masks throughout the drama. Later
on, the skene became the background
before the drama took place. The
Theatron is the place where spectators
sat to watch the drama. It is
theoretically the bleachers for Greek
spectators. The Parodos had two
purposes. One is they served as the
place where the chorus stood and sang.
The second purpose was to serve as
part of the skene during large dramas
where spectators and actors could go
about during the drama.
