Beaded Flowers Supplies:
28- gauge silver beading wire 1 or 2 packages of white- inside rainbow seed
Several packages of turquoise, royal blue beads
and silver rocaille beads Wire cutter
Measuring tape
Directions:
Making petals
Cut a 10” length of wire. Make a small loop, twisting several times at one end of wire to prevent
beads from slipping off. Slide 10 rocaille beads onto the wire.
Twist another wire, 27" long, with center wire below strung beads. String 12 rocaille beads onto
second wire and wrap top around center to secure.
Bead other side of wire with 12 rocaille beads to form loop. Wrap bottom around center wire to
secure.
Repeat as above to make a total of 5 loops, adding 6 rocaille beads to each loop (fifth loop
should have 36 rocaille beads).
Repeat steps above to make 5 petals.

Adding veins
Thread enough seed beads onto a piece of wire to measure 1/2".
Hook top of wire over loop at bottom of center wire and twist ends around stem of petal to
secure.

Making leaves
Follow steps 1 and 2 for making petals, sliding 4 silver beads onto center wire.
String 6 seed beads onto second wire and secure. Bead other side of wire with 6 seed beads to
form loop.
Repeat to make a total of 4 loops, adding 6 seed beads to each loop as you go (fourth loop
should have 24 beads).
Repeat steps to make 2 leaves.

Making the stamen

Thread enough white beads on a piece of wire to measure 2".
Bend wire in half and twist ends together to form a loop. Twist loop at bottom.

Putting it together
Twist 3 petals around stamen.
Twist remaining 2 petals behind or between other petals.
Add leaves to stem and shape petals as desired.
