Indiana University, Center of Excellence for Women in Technology
Develop a new e-badging system integrated with local workshops, online courses and webinars
for undergraduate students across IU campus to explore their career paths and to learn about job-
ready technology skills (e.g., web design and development). Develop user guides of the e-badging
system and conduct a usability test. In addition, assist the Director with the development of the
Status of K-14 Computer Science Education in Indiana Landscape Report.

EDUC W200: Using Computers in Education
Developed curriculum and created teaching materials for preservice teachers on the topic of
technology integration in K-12 classrooms. Demonstrated a wide variety of technology tools for
different instructional purposes and supported preservice teachers in developing inquiry-based,
digital citizenship, and computational thinking lessons with extensive guidance and feedback.

Helpline Manager Summer 2015 – Summer 2017

Worked with the Associate Dean and Administrative Assistant of the Office of Teacher Education
to promote teacher education and professional development events. In addition, maintained
Office of Teacher Education website using the IU Web Content Management System. Designed

EDUC R695: IST Doctoral Colloquium and Seminar Spring 2016


Developed course schedule, drafted weekly announcement, and managed course materials and
discussions on Canvas (learning management system). Facilitated in-class discussions and gave
a mini-lecture on “Developing a scholarship and research agenda”. Moreover, provided
comments and feedback on students’ research proposals.

EDUC R711: Readings in Instructional Systems Technology (Online) Fall 2015


Attended weekly online discussion. Reviewed and provided feedback for students’ weekly team
summary of weekly readings. Also, assisted the instructor in managing course materials in a
learning management system. Moreover, demonstrated how to use Mendeley as a reference
management system for literature review.

EDUC R690: Application of Research Methods to IST Issues Fall 2013


Facilitated in-class discussions and assisted the instructor in preparation of teaching materials.
In addition, arranged interview participants for students, and created research survey as
research practice for graduate students in this course. Assisted the instructor in reviewing and
providing feedback for students’ critique papers.

Served as TTL lab manager to coordinate teaching and learning service in the lab. Assisted
technology course instructors in design and development of teaching materials. In addition,
supported preservice teachers’ use of technology in creating artifacts. Also, provided technology
demonstration, such as iMovie, SMARTBoard activities, and Prezi, etc.
