Movie Description
A group of six friends are very close but two of which don’t live by the
others. Four of the friends live together in an apartment building in the Berkshires.
The two friends come visit the girls and many things fall apart with a skiing
incident, illness, and some jealousy, it is up to the girls to make everything better.
There are bumps in the road but in the end, all of that bonded them and even
brought the two frenemies together. And that’s why they have each other.

[BELLA SITTING ON COUCH WATCHING CARTOONS HEARS A KNOCK

ON THE DOOR]

*RILEY KNOCKS ON DOOR

*BELLA OPENS IT

Riley: Hey Bells! You are never going to guess who’s coming tomorrow!

Bella: Really? Who is it?

Riley: Ok! Sadie is in town and she’s coming to sleepover for the weekend!

*BOTH HUG AND SQUEAL

Bella: Oh my god! How’d you find out?

Riley: She just called me!

Bella: Oh wow! Ok, um does Monica know yet?

Riley: No, would you mind telling her for me I’m kind of scared. After what
happened last time, I don’t want to be a part of this

Bella: Sure! No problem. Anything for a friend. Just wish me luck. I am not
looking forward to the crying period of all of this.

Riley: Thanks so much! You’re a lifesaver

[BELLA GOES TO MONICA’S APARTMENT AND KNOCKS ON DOOR]

*MONICA ANSWERS

Monica: Oh hey Bella, what’s up?

Bella: Um, can I come in?

Monica: uh, yeah sure. Is everything alright?

Bella: I will explain in a minute

[BOTH GO AND SIT ON COUCH]

Bella: Okay here it goes, Sadie’s coming for the weekend

*MONICA BLANKLY STARES AT BELLA WITH JAW DROPPED

*MONICA SNAPS OUT OF IT

Monica: NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bella: I know you’re upset, but maybe this is your time to bond with her and make
up!

Monica: No. Not with that chick

Bella: What do you have against her?!

Monica: She’s a selfish brat! She doesn’t care about anyone but herself

Bella: oh really, so why would she come all the way here from Colorado if she
doesn’t care?

Monica: So she can show off her skiing and looks

Bella: What did she ever do to you?!

Monica: Everything Bella, she’s done everything

[MONICA STORMS OUT OF THE ROOM AND SLAMS DOOR]

*BELLA LOOKS SAD

[GIA KNOCKS ON TAYLOR AND BELLA’S DOOR]

*TAYLOR ANSWERS

Gia and Taylor: Ahhhh!!

Taylor: Oh my god! Since when were you coming?!

Gia: I just drove in! I heard Sadie was coming

Taylor: Oh. yea. I’m so excited! But Monica just found out.

Gia: Oh no. Anyway, where’s Bella?

Taylor: She’s been over at Monica and Riley’s for a while. She’s the one who
broke the news to Monica

Gia: Oh. I should probably head over there. You wanna come with?

Taylor: I do, but I’m not feeling so well

Gia: Are you ok?

Taylor: Yeah, I’m fine. I’ll just stay back and rest

Gia: Yeah. You do look a little flush. Alright I better get going before things get
bad. Feel better!
Taylor: Thanks see you later!

[GIA WALKS DOWN HALL AND BUMPS INTO SADIE]

Sadie: OMG! Gia!

Sadie and Gia: Ahhh!!!!!

Gia: Wait, aren’t you supposed to come tomorrow?

Sadie: Yeah but I got in early. What are you doing here?

Gia: I heard you were coming and I thought I should pay everyone a visit

Sadie: How long are you in town?

Gia: The weekend!!!

Sadie: Yay! Do the girls know your here?

Gia: No! I was about to surprise them!

Sadie: Can I come? They don’t know I’m here

Gia: Absolutely!

[GIA AND SADIE ENTER MONICA AND RILEY’S APARTMENT]

*THEY KNOCK ON DOOR AND RILEY ANSWERS

Riley: What?!

Gia: We’re here!

Riley: Wait was I supposed to know you were coming? I’m sorry if I was

Gia: No! It’s a surprise!

Riley: Well, it worked! And Sadie, aren’t you supposed to come tomorrow?

Sadie: Yes, I got in early though!

[BELLA WALKS IN THE ROOM]

Bella: Riley, who’s th- ahh! What are you guys doing here!!!

Sadie: I got in early and Gia is visiting for the weekend!

Bella: That’s awesome guys! We are going to have so much fun! when was the last
time we were all together?

Riley: I can’t even remember

Sadie: May I ask, is you know who here?

Bella: Yeah, she’s sobbing in her bedroom

Sadie: Can I come in? I have to talk to her

Bella: Sure, if you want your face to be ripped off

Sadie: I’m willing to take the risk

Bella: Really? It must be really important

[SADIE WALKS AWAY WITH A SAD LOOK ON HER FACE]

Gia: I wonder what’s up

Riley: Yeah

[THEY ALL LOOK AT HER BEDROOM DOOR]

Gia: We shouldn’t.

Bella: You wanna?

[THEY ALL HURRY TO THE DOOR]

Sadie: Hey!

*MONICA LOOKS UP FROM CRYING

Monica: Ugh. Go away

Sadie: Monica, this needs to stop.

Monica: I will never forgive you

Sadie: But you can! I’m a different person now than I was ten years ago!

Monica: Sure

Sadie: Okay. The truth is, I was the jealous one Monica.

Monica: What do you mean?

Sadie: The only reason why I left you for another ski team is because I wanted to
be better than you. I was jealous of you so I pushed, and pushed, and pushed
myself so hard so I can be good enough to be on a better team than you. I was a
selfish, rude person that I really wish I never was. I regret every moment of that
time and I just want to forget everything about it.

Monica: Wow. uh, is all of that true?

Sadie: I’m being 100% honest with you Monica

Monica: Wow. I feel stupid

Sadie: Are you kidding? I should be the one feeling stupid! I’m the one who was
an idiot and I didn’t tell you why or apologize until ten years after!

Monica: I’m sorry Sadie. I really am.

Sadie: Me too. I guess I was just too embarrassed to admit it

Monica: This, this means a lot Sadie

Sadie: Friends again?

Monica Friends again!

Riley, Bella, and Gia: Awww!!

[SADIE AND MONICA TEAR UP AND HUG]

Sadie: See? This is what I miss!

Monica: Me too!

[MONICA AND SADIE WALK TOWARDS THE DOOR AND OPEN IT]
*GIA, RILEY AND BELLA TOPPLE OVER THEN TRY TO ACT CASUAL
Sadie: Guys! Where you spying on us?

Gia, Bella, Riley: No

Monica: Don’t lie

Gia: Okay, yes

Sadie: So you heard?

Gia, Riley, Bella: Yes!!

Riley: We are so happy!

Bella: We can finally be all together this weekend!

ALL: Yayy!

[ALL HUG AND JUMP IN A CIRCLE]

Monica: Hey where’s Taylor?

Gia: Oh! I saw her before I got here! She said she wasn’t feeling well

Riley: Great.

Bella: Things were just starting to get good!

Gia: She said she was fine

Sadie: Yea why are you guys saying that? I think you’re overreacting a little bit

Monica: Well clearly you don’t know Taylor

Gia: What do you mean?

Bella: When Taylor says she doesn’t feel good and then she says she’s “fine” she’s
on the verge of dying

Sadie: Wait actually?

Riley: Well no but it’s usually pretty bad

Gia: Shoot.

Sadie: Let’s go to Bella’s place and check on her

ALL: Okay

Scene 2

[ALL GO TO BELLA AND TAYLOR’S APARTMENT]

*THEY OPEN DOOR

Bella: Taylor?

Taylor: *COUGHS* Yeah?

Gia: How are you feeling?

Taylor: Better

Riley: are you sure?

Taylor: Yeah, I’m fine just *SNEEZES* tired
Monica: Honey, I think you better rest

Riley: Yeah, we were just going to head to a wine place, but we can stay back if
you’d like

Taylor: No! No! You can totally go without me

Bella: Are you sure?

Taylor: Of course!

Gia: I don’t know Tay

Sadie: Yeah, we don’t want to leave you lonely

Taylor: Wait! Sadie when did you get here?!

Sadie: About an hour ago

Taylor: I would hug you but yeah

Sadie: No problem!

Taylor: Alright you guys go I’m gonna rest

Riley: You’re the best Tay-Tay! Please call us if you need anything

Bella: Yes please call us. Don’t forget I’m in medical school

Taylor: I won’t forget

Gia: Alright ladies! Let’s get ready!

[ALL GO INTO A DOOR]
[ALL COME OUT OF DOORS]

Sadie: ooh! We look good!

Bella: You got that right!

Monica: *GASPS !! Oh my god Gia! Where did you get that shirt!?

Gia: Oh! I got it as a gift

Riley: That is beautiful

Bella: That must have cost that person a fortune!

Gia: Well look at you Miss. Glitz Glam!

Bella: Uh! How dare you call me a Glitz Glam!

Sadie: Why? What’s a glitz glam?

Monica: it’s only the top beauty pageant in Massachusetts. It’s once a year. Who
ever gets crowned Miss. Glitz Glam, immediately gets famous

Sadie: and that’s a bad thing?

Gia: Whoever is a Glitz Glam, is totally spoiled and a brat

Sadie: And why haven’t I heard of this?

Gia: You live in Colorado for crying out loud! Massachusetts news doesn’t travel
very far
Sadie: Well sorry si-

Taylor: Hey guys, I’m feeling a lot better

Bella: Oh! Did that 8 minute nap do you any good?

Taylor: Oh. That was only 8 minutes? I must have been in a deep sleep?

Bella: Nice try. Go back to bed Ms. Quarantine

Gia: Hey that’s my thing!

Bella: What’s your thing?

Gia: The Miss. Blank

Bella: Give it up!

Sadie: Guys! Taylor is still here!

*TAYLOR WAVES

Bella: Taylor you need to rest

Taylor: ok can we make a deal?

Bella: What?

Taylor: ok I go to the wine place, if I get really sick, you get a $25 gift card to the
Sweet Pea Spa and you get to say you told me so. If I’m not sick, I get to say “Ha”
and I get a snack from your secret stash.

Bella: Deal. wait how do you know about my stash?!

Taylor: Oh please you don’t hide it very well

Monica: Well what are you waiting for? Get ready girl!

[TAYLOR GOES INTO ROOM AND THEN COMES OUT SHORTLY AFTER]

Gia: B-E-A-utiful!

Sadie: Let’s go girls!

[ALL WALK OUT THE DOOR]

[ALL APPEAR IN A WINE PLACE]

Wineman 1: hi.

Taylor: Hi! We’d like to get table for six!

Wineman 1: table?

Gia: Yes.

Wineman 1: TT-AAA-BBBB-LLL-EE?

Bella: Yes. Tu hable ingles?

Wineman 1: english please?

Riley: Uhuh. So you do speak english?

Wineman 1: Si

Taylor: WHAT LANGUAGE DO YOU SPEAK MAN?

Sadie: Okay. Are you messing with us? We just want a table

Sadie: I know it’s late but I think I’m gonna go for a ski

Monica: I’ll go with you

Sadie: No! Um I kinda wanna go on my own.

Monica: oh! Ok.

Sadie: Sorry I didn’t mean to offend you if I did.

Monica: No, No it’s fine

Sadie: You sure?

Riley: Be careful.

Sadie: alright i’ll be back in a little bit!

*KNOCK ON THE DOOR

Bella: I’ll get it. Who could it be?

*BELLA OPENS DOOR

Safety Skier: Hello. She fell pretty bad

Bella: Oh my goodness please set her down on the couch

Gia: Oh my god what happened?

Sadie: I fell

Monica: *GASPS

Taylor: What’s happening?!

Riley: OMG!

Sadie: Ouch!

Safety Skier: Sorry.

Taylor: Some safety skier aren’t ya?

Bella: Yeah so how’d this happen?

Sadie: I got so worked up thinking about something, when I was skiing down the
biggest mountain here, I went to fast and fell pretty bad on my leg.

Monica: Oh no. See if I had been there, this probably wouldn’t have happened

Sadie: It’s not always about you

Monica: Oh. I thought we made up

Sadie: We did. Oww…

Bella: Medical student here

Gia: oh yeah you can help

Bella: yeah. Okay so does this hurt

Sadie: yes

Bella: What about this?

Sadie: Yes! Owww..

Bella: Okay. We have to take you to the hospital.

Gia, Riley, Monica, Taylor, Sadie: THE HOSPITAL?!

Bella: Yes. Don’t panic

[ALL HURRY OUT THE DOOR]

[ARRIVE AT THE HOSPITAL]

Desk person: Hello! How may I help you?

Bella: Hi my friend may have broken her leg. I’m a medical student and I checked
it out. It looks pretty bad.

Desk person: Alright We will get her in in about 6 hours

Taylor: SIX HOURS?!

Desk person: I know. Good amount huh?

Monica: Did you just say good amount?

Desk person: Yeah. that’s a great amount for this hospital

Riley: Six hours?

Gia: That’s a good time?

Desk person: Yes. Do know how long you’d be here if the patient was having a
baby?

Monica: Long right?

Desk person: probably 3x more than that

Gia: Why are we still talking to you?

[DESK PERSON MOTIONS THEM TO WAITING AREA]

Taylor: I’m not feeling so hot. But I’m fine

[ALL RUSH OVER TO TAYLOR]

Gia: Say ahhh..

Riley: LET ME CHECK HER PULSE!

Taylor: Guys! GUYS! STOP!

Gia: Sorry.

Taylor: I’m just going to go home and rest okay?

Gia: Ok.

Monica: We will update you on Sadie

Taylor: Yes. please do.

Gia: Wait did anyone notice that Sadie was taken in? Bella’s with her too. We are
terrible friends

Riley: Try not to rub that in our faces. We all know we’re terrible

Monica: We have to occupy ourselves

Gia: hu! That reminds me! I haven’t worked in hours!

Riley: That’s our workaholic!

*IN THE HOSPITAL ROOM

Doctor: Alright. It’s definitely broken

Sadie: Noo!!

Doctor: You’re a skier correct?

Sadie: Yes. I can’t live without it

*DOCTOR TAKES DEEP SIGH

Doctor: I hate this part.

Sadie: Oh no. What?

Doctor: There’s a chance you may never ski again

Bella, Sadie: WHAT???

Sadie: THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!!!!

Bella: You’re joking RIGHT?!

Doctor: I’m afraid I’m not

[SADIE BEGINS TO CRY]

Sadie: Skiing is my life! There’s no way I can give it up

Doctor: Well there’s a slight chance, and when I say slight, I mean a VERY
SLIGHT chance that you may be able to ski again but I really can’t get your hopes
up because I really don’t think it’s practical

Sadie: Okay. So there’s a little bit of hope

Doctor: Well, it’s broken in three spots

Bella: ouch!

Sadie: oh

Doctor: and your going to need surgery. It’s a two-part surgery so you’d be in the
hospital for roughly… a week

[CAMERA TURNS TO THE WAITING ROOM]

*BELLA WALKS IN

Bella: Hey guys.

Monica: So what’s the scoop? Do you have a diagnosis?

Bella: Sadly. Yes. It’s broken in three spots, she needs a two part surgery, and she
may not be able to ski ever again
All: Oh no!

Monica: That’s terrible! Very terrible!
