A1-Travelling North.
Travelling up the A1 past the Metro Centre 2ND Exit Turn off for Blaydon down
the slip road you approach a roundabout 4th Exit along Derwent Half Road
(A694)
At the next roundabout go straight ahead (A694) (Follow signs for Consett)
Follow the road through Winlaton Mill passing through a set of traffic lights and
on past the Thornley Woodlands Centre on the left.
As you approach Rowlands Gill there is a set of traffic lights. 100yrds past the
lights is a bus stop on the left. Slow and indicate left. At the end of the bus stop
turn sharp left into a lane leading to Far Pasture this is a single-track road!
PLEASE drive slowly down the hill as there may be pedestrians in the road.
At the T junction turn right and drive slowly down the hill around the bend at
the bottom and along the road. In front of you, you will see a metal gate
(entrance to the sewerage works) 50 yds. before the gate is the entrance to Far
Pasture car park.

Follow the A1 south over the Tyne and take the exit for Consett A694

Approach from the West.

Travelling from the West.
At some point during your travels if you are to visit us you must turn on to the
A694 and approach us through Rowlands Gill.
After going through Rowlands Gill (shopping area) the road drops and turns to
the left before turning to the right up a slight incline. The road then straightens,
housing to the left and trees to the right. At the end of the straight road are
traffic lights. Slightly before the traffic lights on the right-hand side is the bus
stop and at the beginning of the bus stop is the lane leading down to Far
Pasture.
As soon as you see the bus stop slow and indicate right this is a single-track
road!
